Purpose:
Boss junctions are used to join and additional branch line on to an existing main sewer line without cutting a full junction into the main line. They are used in sewerage systems, suspended drainage systems, soil waste & vent systems, stormwater systems that are not pressurised, i.e. gravity systems. 

Alternative Names:
Branch Connectors; Saddles; Clamp-on’s.
